MÉLIÈS is the solo project of artist David Méliès. Created during a forced-break, the album was recorded and completed within 5 days at À’ÉTAB Studios. Known as the male half of Coco Méliès, he released a frankly folk “record” with minimalistic pop accents. Partially redolent of artist Damien Rice, not without the scent of Dumas and Daniel Bélanger, MÉLIÈS brings his listener through the songs of a well-worn journal; you know the kind you keep in your jacket’s inside pocket. A work where we can read the last words as the first - where the epilogue, without hierarchy.
