Alex Burger sings likes he speaks, with all the expressiveness and colour of the Québec tongue, marrying his timeless “classic rock” swimmingly. He can make us bawl on command with his country ballads that sound like if Hank Williams was born in the ’90s in Montérégie. But the rest of the time, he throws us his fiery spirit with the ease of a guy who was meant to be on stage, telling us the story of his life through his songs and his rock that is not like any other.
